If you have a smart watch, you will be familiar with being told to stand up, breathe and perhaps, from its wrist worn perspective, most importantly reminded you can still do it!
Your smart watch is not really smart, just honest, it isn’t hindered by reasons you can’t do something, and it doesn’t have any baggage to tell you it is hard, that you don’t have enough time or something else is a priority.
It believes in you, it knows you have set yourself a goal for the day and, as a result, wants to do everything it can to encourage you to achieve it.
As far as it is concerned, there is no historical drag on you, no insecurities that create doubt in your ability to achieve your objectives, yes your objectives, the Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time bound, SMART ones, you have set yourself!
Its simplistic, focused and intense view of success means it doesn’t understand or have time for the obstructions you put in your own way. It is only focused on doing its bit, in you achieving your goals.
If you are struggling to achieve your goals, act like your watch, ignore the make sure it is you that is SMART, focused and remind yourself you can still do it! At the same time don’t forget to take enough time to recharge before you go again!
